I suppose I'll give the center more leeway when it comes to pre/post-bowling because it is their scheduled open bowling time. But that should go both ways and league time should be league only. We have had several instances where a lane breaks and bowlers need to move to a new pair, but if they had given the only free pair to open bowlers then what happens?Zachhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15571891820874234255noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6647874964939742275.post-60146377909963731992012-12-12T12:20:04.082-05:002012-12-12T12:20:04.082-05:00We face the same issues on a weekly basis. League...We face the same issues on a weekly basis. League bowlers are treated with no respect whatsoever. Pre or post bowling games are bowled on whatever lanes they want to give you. Once, they were going to put adults on the alley next to us that were going to be using the bumpers. We asked them to move them down a lane and luckily they obliged. One other time we had to post bowl and they put a couple next to us that never left the approach and barely waited for the rack to set up the pins. Luckily they only bowled one game and we waited it out. However, I lost my momentum and bowled below average my next game. What ever happened to the unwritten rule of giving league bowlers a cushion of at least 1 lane before putting on open bowlers?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6647874964939742275.post-28934604256235671522012-12-10T08:30:12.854-05:002012-12-10T08:30:12.854-05:00I hoped that I wasn't being too unreasonable, ...I hoped that I wasn't being too unreasonable, or that the pain in my knee and back didn't cause me to over-react.

I think the part that bothers me most is that there are simple solutions to chronic problems that haven't been implemented, even after 14 weeks of bowling. My lower first game score was a direct result of the conditions on the approach. Its bad enough bowlers fight the conditions on the lane, but when the approach continues to change as well, it gets to be dangerous.Zachhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15571891820874234255noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6647874964939742275.post-64064609105273525742012-12-09T10:43:06.213-05:002012-12-09T10:43:06.213-05:00I don't think you're being unreasonable. Y...I don't think you're being unreasonable. You pay good money to bowl each week with the understanding that in return the bowling center will provide certain services. One of those services should be lanes that are safe to bowl on.

Like you said, if an older person fell and fractured their hip (or worse) due to the dangerous lane conditions, I'm sure Paradise Bowl would be knee deep in litigation.Matt Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01994687481674496843noreply@blogger.com
