The First Post

As the 2011/2012 bowling season approaches, I am trying to pump myself up for the coming season. I haven't rolled a frame since the end of April and have really been in the mood to get back out on the lanes. I caught a couple of games from the PBA team shootout on ESPN and saw Ryan Shafer's 300 which was pretty awesome. He looked like he had done it a million times before, but if I start with 6 in a row I am about to collapse.

While contemplating the upcoming season, I was searching the internet for bowling blogs to follow. Just a few places to pick up some tips as the weeks moved along. My search yielded no results, so I decided to take it upon myself to try to fill the void and here we are.

I hope as the season progresses I can help a few other bowlers and maybe provide a laugh or two. So get ready, because this season is going to be a whole lot of fun.

  1. Hey, just saw your comment on the about.com blog and followed you here. I think this is a great idea for a bowling blog, as the majority I've seen are either for pros or complete beginners. I'll definitely be following your posts and I'm sure I'll learn a thing or two!
